Anti-Reflective Coating: AR or anti-glare lens treatment is a thin coating that eliminates reflections from lens surfaces. This advanced technology also reduces halos around light and makes lenses virtually invisible. Anti-reflective coating improves light transmission for night driving and reduces glare from sunlight and computer screens.
Bifocal Lenses: Many patients require two separate prescriptions, one for seeing distances and a second for seeing near. Bifocals allow for two areas on the same lens separated by a pronounced line. One section is for focusing on far objects and the other is for reading. Trifocals feature three separate lined areas of focusing power.
Progressive Lenses: Eye fatigue is a classic problem for bifocal and trifocal wearers. It can be taxing to keep switching focus from one portion of the lens to the next. Eyes can grow tired, a headache may develop as well as neck and back soreness.
Cosmetic & Specialty Tints: We offer a wide variety of cosmetic tints to complement your new stylish frames. Tints come in many shades and colors. You have the option of choosing any hue under the rainbow. Designs can be adjusted to suit your unique taste.
Photochromic (Transition Lenses): Photochromic lenses automatically darken in response to sunlight. Once you are back indoors, the lens transition back to clear (or almost clear). Photochromics are available in just about every lens material and style. These transition lenses work well for people who cannot afford to buy a separate pair of prescription sunwear or who experience light sensitivity.
Polarized Lenses: Glare from sleek, damp roads or from a wet windshield, or light from other vehicles can be blinding, and very dangerous. Polarized lenses are the most effective method to reduce the annoying glare for better visibility and less eye strain.
Scratch Resistant Coating: It can be very distracting the have scratched up lenses. It hard to see clearly and the look is not very attractive. Luckily, many coatings today have scratch resistance built right into the lens such as lenses made of Trivex, polycarbonate and high-index lenses. These products have a harder surface and are treated both front and back with a scratch-resistant coating. It is always a good idea to treat children’s lenses with a hard scratch-resistant coating for more reinforcement and great long-term durability.
